How it Works

Selling your device through Mobile Phone Trade In is a tremendously simple experience. With just a few simple steps you will be able to get paid for your unwanted device.

Follow these simple steps to sell your unwanted device today:


Find your Device

Browse or search our website to find the device you'd like to sell. We have a wide range of devices we recycle through the website, however if you have a device which is not on the website we may still be able to help, please contact us.


Configure and Checkout

Once you have found your device, you'll need to configure some basic information about it. This information will affect the price, so please pay special attention to your final offer. Typically, we need to know the condition, storage size, whether the device is network locked, and its IMEI number. Other confirmations and declarations will need to be made to help protect us and ensure you don't waste your time.

With your device configured, just add it to the cart and checkout (or add another if you have multiple devices to sell). You'll be provided a unique request number. Please keep this safe and use it for any related communications.


Send your Device

Depending on which option you selected during the checkout process, you'll either need to wait for our free packaging and pre-paid postage label, or you'll need to source your own packaging and cover the postage costs.

Our free postage option uses the Royal Mail Special Delivery service. Once your phone is packed in the provide packaging with the label applied, simply drop it off at your local Post Office.

Opting to handle postage yourself is often a little faster as you won't need to wait for your pre-paid label and packaging. If you're using this option, please ensure the device is secured in a high quality box with some protection (bubble-wrap, shredded paper, etc.). For your own safety, you should choose a delivery service that provides tracking (we'll ask for this) and insurance. We will not take responsibility for packages that are lost or damaged. 


Recieve your Payment

Once we have received your device and verified it, we'll release funds. Typically, payment will be made within 1 working day of receipt of your device.
